Arinac Forte is a combination medication used for the symptomatic relief of upper respiratory tract conditions associated with congestion and cough. It combines the actions of an antihistamine, a decongestant, and an antitussive to provide multi-symptom relief.
Active Ingredients
- Chlorpheniramine Maleate: 4 mg
- Phenylephrine HCl: 10 mg
- Dextromethorphan HBr: 15 mg
Uses/ indication’s
- Arinac Forte is indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with:
- Common cold
- Allergic rhinitis
- Sinusitis
- Upper respiratory tract infections
- Symptoms relieved include:
- Nasal and sinus congestion
- Runny nose
- Sneezing
- Cough
Dosage
- Adults and children 12 years and older:
- 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed
- Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours
- Children 6-11 years:
- 1/2 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed
- Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours
- Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

- Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs)
- Other central nervous system depressants
- Tricyclic antidepressants
- Beta-blockers
- Other sympathomimetic drugs
- Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication.
Warnings
- Do not use if you have severe hypertension, severe coronary artery disease, or are taking MAOIs
- May cause drowsiness; use caution when driving or operating machinery
- Avoid using with other cough and cold products

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
